Infinix Mobility has released its latest flagship smartphone in the ZERO series, the Zero 3. This device comes boasting with a superior 20.7 megapixel camera, 4G capabilities among other high specs at an affordable price.
The Zero 3 comes with a 5.5 inch full HD display with pixel density of 400ppi which is expected to deliver sharp, clear and bright multimedia experience. Camera is pegged at 20.7 megapixel with dual flash and the capacity to record video in 4K, the front camera is a 5 mega pixel that also comes with dual colour LED flash.
Infinix Mobility CEO, Benjamin Jiang emphasized that a larger pixel count does not directly translate into a good picture quality, hence they made used of SONY IMX203 sensors in its camera to complement its 20.7MP camera.
Powered by Android Lollipop OS, the Zero 3 is completely modified to customize user experience with the introduction of its XUI user interface which offers series of features like efficient power management, font manager, system management, themes among others. “Infinix Mobility is not only a hardware manufacturer; we are delivering richer experience by developing software solutions for our users. It’s important for our users to experience something new, XUI provides customized software with regular system updates.” said Bruno Li, Infinix Mobility country Manager.
Infinix Zero 3 is powered by MediaTek HELIO X10 processor, a 64-bit octa-core CPU with clock speeds up to 2.2GHz. This HELIO X10 processors is integrated with 4G LTE capabilities, 4K video recording at 30 fps, slow-motion, better multi-media experience and an overall CPU performance to give users an improved mobile experience.
RAM size is clocked at 3GB while internal memory is 16GB, this is a sort of slack as I expected a 32GB internal memory on this flagship. Battery is also capped at a reasonable 3030mAh.
All these specs are looking good and impressive on paper, watch this space for a review of the device once it is available.
Pricing is yet to be decided so we will have to wait till 21st December 2015 when the device will be go on sale.
As much as I like the phone, 16GB is not not impressive and the design not as sleek as Zero 2.
By the way, I spotted a typographical error towards the end of the review: I suppose you meant when the device will go on sale and not ‘when the device will be go on sale”.. We all make mistakes it’s human nature.
Is the device really 4g capable because others say it’s not. Or they have a different variant of the phone
It has an option to switch from 4G/3G/2G under the prefered network settings. I am yet to insert a 4G SIM card into it tho…
