With the intent of helping the average business man worry-less about having to carry laptops wherever he goes, Tecno recently announced the Tecno PhonePad 3. The tagline, ‘Do business, stay mobile’ says a lot about the company’s intention of allowing users an improved and efficient business life.
Being the fourth in the PhonePad series, it is no doubt that Tecno has really made improvements with the PhonePad 3, as compared to the Phone Pad 7E, its predecessor.
So, let’s take a quick look inside the box:
Opening up the box, I’m welcomed with this fresh air, the scent of a new device. Smells yummy…Lol. Well, now I’m staring at the device, which has already been placed in a smart case.
Apart from the main device, there are other basic accessories in the box:
- a sim ejector pin
- a warranty card
- user guide
- 1 USB cable
- Power adapter
- a pair of earphones
Now to the device
Talking about the design of the phonepad, I must say that it is stunning, and quite easy to hold, with its 7-inch display.
On the right side of the device are the volume rockers, the power button and a finger print scanner. So instead of the regular way of having the finger print scanner in the front or at the back of the device, Tecno lets you have it at the side.
At the other side of the device, we have the sim slot and the memory card slot.
Below, there’s the USB and the speaker.
And then the headphone jack at the top.
The 13 MP auto focus rear facing camera with dual flash is located behind the device.
Other specifications of the PhonePad 3 include;
- 1.3GHz Quad-core processor
- 16GB internal memory with 2GB RAM
- 5MP Front facing camera and 13MP back camera
- 4100mAh Battery
