- It’s design
I’ve never owned a Samsung S6 or S6 edge, so I don’t have any issues with both devices looking a little too much like their predecessors. That said, both the S7 and S7 edge are beautiful phones in every respect. The seamless connection between the metal and glass that wrap around the both devices. The edge display on the edge and its slim balanced design (as I’ve seen in pictures and review videos), makes this phone one of the prettiest I’ve ever seen and of course would love to own.
- Water and dust resistant
I know the feeling of not knowing if your phone will survive the water that accidentally entered into it. And I don’t want to ever have to feel that way especially when I spent some good money buying that device in the first place.
The Galaxy S7 and S7 edge come entirely water and dust resistant and unlike previous versions that needed the user to cover open connection slots like the USB slot with a cap, the new flagships don’t need those at all.
I must also thank T-mobile for their underwater unboxing of both devices. That video was all the proof I needed that the S7 and S7 edge are truly water proof and for this reason too I’m longing for any one of them
- High quality images every time – anytime
I’ve read enough reviews about the camera quality of both devices to make me itch to own one of them if not for anything else but for the awesome pictures I’ll take with them. The S7 and S7 edge are the first smartphone with Dual Pixel technology which enables both cameras capture high quality images even in low light conditions.
- A variety of useful accessories
No phone is complete without its accessories and Samsung is offering a variety of accessories all of which will enhance the way we use both flagships. But it’s not just the assortment of accessories that I like but the fact that I know I’d find a lot of them very, very useful. I mean for instance what Nigeria wouldn’t appreciate the battery pack and battery backpack. You get the drift don’t you?
- Presence of a microSD and awesome battery life
More memory space and a longer lasting batteries on a flagship is a very welcome feature! No need to think of spending money on upgrading your device simply because you want more memory space. And as for the 3,000mAh and 3,600mAh batteries in the S7 and S7 edge respectively? I expect them to let me rock my powerful device for long enough.
How about you? Any reasons why you’re also coveting anyone of these phones. Go ahead and share them with me in the comments.
Would love to own the s7 edge given the fact that the screen is bigger that s7. I love big screens. The specs are quite enticing.
Everything about the Samsung galaxy S7 was a hit Back to Back.
