Olakunle Soriyan Company has partnered with Microsoft Nigeria to hold an empowerment program, themed, “Ideas Going Global”. The first edition of the event held in Lagos on the 4th of December and subsequent ones will be held in Abuja and Port Harcourt on December 11 and 13 respectively.
According to the visionary and initiator of the Ideas Going Global initiative and Principal Transformation Strategist, Olakunle Soriyan, Company (OSC), Olakunle Soriyan, the Ideas Going Global business cocktail aims to encourage people to embrace all technological innovations and inventions that can help their businesses operate on a global scale. As this would in turn positively impact on the country’s GDP and per capita income.
He also added that “We are building a network of dreamers that want to go global. With this we intend to create a synergy between Nigerian businesses and international businesses. Furthermore we will be empowering the workforce who are better equipped as change agents. Ideas Going Global would also increase access to quality service delivery in SME businesses.”
Microsoft Nigeria added that the Ideas Going Global business cocktails have also designed to inspire individuals to come up with ideas that are globally acceptable and profitable. The company also believes that this initiative will help ease Nigeria’s unemployment challenges.
Microsoft’s Corporate Citizenship Manager, Olusola Amusan iterated that this initiative was part of the company’s commitment to empower organizations and individuals to do more.
Olusola Amusan said “Due to the evolving nature of business in Nigeria, it is a necessity to adopt superior tactics that enable brands and businesses to be acceptable globally and tradable in any economy.”
