Since the announcement of the official launch dateof the Samsung Galaxy S10, I’ve been on my toes; waiting to scrape any yummy gist about the device.
It looks like Samsung may also unveil it’s first foldable phone – feasibly called the Galaxy X or the Galaxy F, Galaxy Fold or Galaxy Flex – the same day the S10 would be launched.
While we cannot wait to see what Samsung has for us this year, here’s what we at Tech City have heard about the Samsung Galaxy S10 so far.
- Rumors have it that the Galaxy S10 will have a face unlocking camera, an in-display fingerprint reader as suggested by this – the first in the Galaxy S series – and a “bright night” camera mode for low-light photos. It may also come with four rear cameras.
- There have been stories about Samsung taking out the headphone jack in the S10 but there’s a video that showcases a possible case for the device. In the video you can see there’s a hole for the 3.5mm headphone jack. So now the question is will Samsung keep it nor not?
- There may also be a larger Galaxy S10 Plus model, as with previous Galaxy S generations. This plus-size variant is said to come with two front cameras instead of one, which would make the front of the phone look a little different, as shown here.
- It’s also said that the S10 series may include an affordable Galaxy S10 Lite option as well. This mockup shows what the Galaxy S10 Lite could look like. Looks pretty sleek to me.
