The New Apple iPhone SE 2022 sports a redundant design but better processor
The iPhone SE 2022 is Apple’s shot at the budget device market. Released at its first event of the year, the iPhone SE 2022 succeeds the iPhone SE 2 (2020). Being almost two years apart (in terms of release date), there are a few notable upgrades!
The device has a 4.7” Retina IPS LCD that boasts a resolution of 750×1334 pixels. For photography lovers, it has a 12MP main camera and a 7MP selfie camera. As we all know, with Apple, basic camera quality is nothing to worry about. For added security, Apple slapped on a front-facing fingerprint scanner.
In terms of software, the SE 2022 comes pre-installed with iOS 15.3. These features are already available on the previous iPhone SE 2020. The design of the iPhone SE 2022 is the same as that of the SE 2020. One major upgrade that stands the SE 2022 out when compared to its predecessor is processing power.
The iPhone SE 2022 comes packed with the latest A15 Bionic chip, the same chipset that powers the iPhone 13 series. This presence of the A15 means, better processing power, better battery life, 5G connectivity and a new camera experience. The A15 Bionic chip helps the likes of the iPhone 13 Pro Max maintain one of the most impressive battery performances in the smartphone market currently. So if you are considering purchasing one of these, you can rest assured knowing that you have good battery life.
This device will retail at a $429 price tag for the 3/64 GB variant, whereas the 3/128 GB and 3/256 GB models will retail at $479 and $579 respectively. Well, many won’t consider these price tags as being “affordable”, but for the likes of Apple they are cheaper than usual.
