At launch, the iPhone 13 and 13 Pro both came in Pink, Midnight, Starlight, Silver, Gold, Graphite and Red colour variants. Well, Apple added a new variant at its “peek performance” event. This addition is not new with Apple, the iPhone 12 also got a new colour variant last year, despite being launched months earlier.
The new colour additions to the iPhone 13 and 13 Pro is “Green” and “Alpine Green” and it is gorgeous, if we do say! This new colour is great if you do not want a brightly coloured iPhone and are willing to try something other than the “Midnight” colour option. We also think that the Apple Watch in the same color is simply sensational.
Pre-order for this new colour option started on the 11th of March but the device will not be shipping until March 18th. The new device does not come with any beefed up specs, just a new colour shade that is “Oh, So, Green.” While the alpine green in its glory has the darker “army” green shade layering the device camera box, the “army” green shade variant has the lighter alpine shade layering the camera box.
Competitors Samsung, OnePlus, and Xiaomi all have unique shades of green as colour options on their most recent flagship devices and while Apple’s shade of green might not be the most eye-catching out there, it sure is lovely. The alpine green colour is quite fancy, and with Apple’s very minimal design, it is sublime to look at.
