Tiktok is the best thing to happen to many content creators who are looking to build a fanbase very fast. As a result, more and more people are seeking ways to engage their audience for longer on the platform. Hence, the need to go live more often.
Before going live on TikTok, make sure that you have a good internet connection and that your device’s camera and microphone are working properly. Always clean your camera with a damp cloth before hitting record.
Just like how you create regular TikTok videos, you can change various settings by tapping the three dots on the screen when live. You can flip the camera, add effects and filters, moderate comments, and even add up to 20 moderators.
To go live:
- Open the TikTok app on your mobile phone.
- Tap the plus (+) icon at the bottom of the screen to create a new video.
- Swipe left at the bottom of the screen to see the “Live” option.
- Tap “Live” and type a title for your live stream.
- Tap “Go Live” to start.
On Tiktok LIVE, there’s no limit to how long you can record which is why some Tiktokers do vigils with their live sessions. However, if you’re inactive for a long time or don’t complete the verification process, Tiktok will end the LIVE session automatically.
This is why Tiktok encourages users to engage with viewers. By responding to comments and answering questions, you can build a stronger relationship with your audience.
When you’re done with the live stream, tap the “X” icon in the top left corner of the screen to end it. TikTok will save the live stream as a video on your profile, so your followers can watch it later if they missed the live broadcast.
It’s very knowledgeable and useful for me.
Thanks For it!
