There are three(3) different wayss of  creating a carousel post;

  1. Using the Facebook Business Page this is ideal  for organic posts.
  2. Using Meta Business Suite (recommended for scheduling posts).
  3. Using Facebook Ads Manager (for paid promotions).

Creating a carousel post on Facebook is simple and effective. By following these steps, you can craft engaging posts that capture attention and drive results. 

Creating a Carousel Post (Organic Method)

1. Log in to Your Facebook PageOpen Facebook and navigate to your business or personal page

2. Start a new post by clicking on the “Create Post” button.

3. Select “Create a Photo/Video Carousel. If this option isn’t visible, you may need to switch to a professional account .

4.  Images or Videos; Upload high-quality images or videos (recommended size: 1080×1080 pixels for square format). You can use different formats for a unique look.

5. Captions; Add a compelling headline, description, and call-to-action (CTA) for each card. Use concise and engaging language.

6. Links; Add a unique link to each card if needed. This is great for linking individual product pages or articles.

7. Preview; Use the preview option to see how your carousel looks. Ensure that all images and links are working correctly.

8. Publish; Once satisfied, hit “Post” to publish your carousel. Alternatively, schedule it for later using Facebook’s scheduling tools.

 Creating a Carousel Post Using Ads Manager

This method is recommended for promotional content.  Here are the steps;

  • Open Ads Manager:: Log in to your Ads Manager account and click “Create.”
  • Choose a  Campaign Objective:;Select an objective like “Traffic,” “Conversions,” or “Engagement.”
  • Set Ad Format:  Under the ad setup section, select “Carousel.”
  • Add Cards: Upload images or videos for each card, write headlines and descriptions, and add links.
  • Customize CTAs:; Choose CTAs such as “Shop Now” or “Learn More” based on your goals.
  • Preview and Publish: Review your ad and hit “Publish.

To get the best of your carousel posts,  you need to observe the following rules:
