Previous installments of the series were set in a variety of locations, from the third crusade to renaissance Italy, playing in places such as Jerusalem and Venice; however, Assassins Creed III takes place during the American revolution, paving the way for a number of new locations such as Boston and New York as well as interesting characters. Ubisoft announced that during the course of the game, players will encounter historical figures including George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Charles Lee, Thomas Jefferson, King George III and others.
The promising prospect of dispersing of templars as you tour colonial America whilst creeping through the shadows like a total bad-ass is second only to the impressing new game-play features. Connor’s character is motivated by doing the right thing as he chooses to go to war in “fighting for freedom and against tyranny.” In building Connor’s character around his ancestry, Ubisoft states that they have been working with a Mohawk consultant on various aspects of this culture and the language that is taken upon them.
Ubisoft is currently partaking in a four part video series for the video game, which will be detailing new features that have been implemented into assassins creed III. As usual, it would be my pleasure to bring all these to you, you know, because i’m a pretty nice guy.
