Ad Dynamo has ended its online banner ad network. With this development, the company said it will now be focusing on content and Twitter ads.
Industry watchers believe the development could signify the end of commonplace banner ads on digital platforms. It also shows that the competition in online banner ads market is at an all-time high.
“We’ve made this decision reluctantly and first of all, I would like to personally thank you for all your support. The rest of our business will continue as usual, so if you work with us on our Paid Content or Sponsored Tweets products you won’t be affected,” wrote Sean Riley, co-founder and CEO Ad Dynamo.
The firm said it will pay any fees due to its users who had been active in the last six months – unless such accounts are being investigated for fraud.
“So please pull down all those Ad Dynamo banners ASAP,” Ad Dynamo said.
Innovation Village gathered that Ad Dynamo has been appointed as Twitter’s exclusive ad sales partner in South Africa and Nigeria.
