Google is currently working on the Android 14 update, which will bring a ton of new features. One of such features is a bloatware solution.
Bloatware is simply pre-installed applications present on smartphones when they are purchased. Most brands put these applications on their devices for different reasons. Rational as these reasons are, bloatware apps consume space and are oftentimes useless.
With the coming Android 14 update, users will be able to spot bloatware and delete them. This system upgrade will track down bloatware present in an Android device and inform users. Once users get the notification of the bloatware present on their device, they can decide to uninstall the app(s).
Currently, this feature is locked in the Spa settings of the Android 14 DP1 version. This version is only available to beta testers, giving them the privilege to try out this feature before it becomes available to the public. Once Android 14 becomes available, this bloatware tracking feature will become available by default.
