Apple Set to Launch New iPhone SE With No Home Button

Apple Inc. is preparing to launch a new iPhone SE early next year, alongside upgraded iPads as part of its low-end device lineup. The updated SE will feature an edge-to-edge screen and compete with budget Android devices, especially in markets like China.

Key Features of the New iPhone SE

The new iPhone will replace the 2022 version and will include an edge-to-edge screen, eliminating the home button. This design update will help the SE resemble higher-end iPhones, such as the iPhone 14. Additionally, Apple plans to include support for Apple Intelligence, its suite of AI tools, making the SE a more appealing option for budget-conscious buyers.

Apple faces strong competition in the low-end smartphone market, particularly from Android devices in China. The iPhone SE, priced at $429, offers a more affordable alternative to standard iPhone models. By modernizing the design and adding new features, Apple aims to regain market share from brands like Huawei and Xiaomi.

Upgraded iPads and Magic Keyboards for 2024

Alongside the new iPhone SE, Apple is set to launch upgraded iPad Air models, focusing on internal improvements. These new iPads will feature updated versions of the Magic Keyboard, bringing some iPad Pro capabilities to the more affordable Air lineup. A new iPad mini may also debut by the end of 2024.

Apple’s Future Innovations and Product Plans

In addition to the iPhone SE and iPads, Apple is refreshing its Mac lineup. Updated models, including the Mac mini, MacBook Pros, and iMacs, will come equipped with the new M4 processor and incorporate Apple Intelligence capabilities. The M4 chip is expected to reach the MacBook Air, Mac Studio, and Mac Pro by 2025.

Apple’s upcoming iPhone SE and iPad releases in 2024 will strengthen its position in the low-end market. With new designs, advanced AI tools, and upgraded accessories, Apple continues to innovate across all its product lines.
