Any girl or young woman (ages 10-18) interested in Technovation is eligible to compete, as long as she creates or joins a team on the Technovation online platform, has a signed parental consent form (which includes a photo waiver), and completes a pre-program survey.
About the Program:
Technovation is the world’s largest technology entrepreneurship program for girls aged 10-18. It runs across 100+ countries, supported by Salesforce.org, Google.org, the Adobe Foundation, Uber, Samsung, BNY Mellon as well as UNESCO, the Peace Corps, and UN Women (see report, page 55).
Through Technovation girls work with women mentors, find a problem in their community, develop a mobile app, and launch a startup.
Technovation has been on for 9 years. In that time 23,000 girls around the world have developed mobile apps and startups to solve problems around a diverse range of problems, including food waste, nutrition, women’s safety and much more.
