CcHUB Announces the Launch of the Music-Tech Innovation Challenge 2020

MusicTechSpace in conjunction with Co-Creation Hub (CcHUB) is launching the “Music-Tech Innovation Challenge 2020”. MusicTechSpace is an innovation and community platform focused on the intersection of music and technology. Launched in 2019 by Bez Idakula. , multi-award-winning musician, composer, producer and performer boasts over 12 years of experience in the music scene, the aim of the Music-Tech Innovation Challenge is to find, identify & develop innovative solutions across four critical opportunity areas in the Nigerian music industry. These are::

  1. Legal advisory for artists
  2. Digitization of label operations
  3. Artist Management
  4. Event Management

We believe that each of these opportunity areas will benefit immensely from the application of technology and our goal is to help in finding and supporting the development of market-ready solutions that can be deployed by stakeholders for use in the Nigerian music industry.

Meet the experts

This challenge will be driven by 4 key experts in the music industry with over 50+ years of combined experience across the opportunity areas. Leveraging on their strengths, industry expertise and networks –  they will play a key role in guiding prospective applicants to submit quality solutions, creating awareness for the challenge, shortlisting and selection of the final ideas as well as testing and adoption of the selected solutions. 

The key experts include Audu Maikori (Founder, Chocolate City Group), Ms Uduak Oduok (Founder, Africa Music Law), Godwin Tom (Founder, The Godwin Tom Company and iManage Africa Entertainment) and Wale Davies (Founder, Palmwine Music Festival).
