Chowdeck has announced Shoprite as their latest grocery chain addition.
Kennedy Ofor, Chowdeck’s Head of Business / Sales, made the announcement via a n excited Xpost on his X page. He said;
“ … We are happy to announce that we took up that challenge and have now included SHOPRITE as our latest addition to our Grocery chain list .”
According to him in the same post, SHOPRITE is currently available on Chowdeck across 4 major cities – Lagos, Ibadan, Abuja, and Port-Harcourt.

Chowdeck is a Y Combinator-backed Nigerian food delivery startup.
It offers an on-demand food delivery service application and marketplace.
It allows food vendors to deliver meals and also provides for consumers a platform to order meals from restaurants in their city.
The Founder and CEO of Chowdeck Femi Aluko, co founded the startup with two friends:
– Olumide Ojo (CTO) and
– Lanre Yusuf (COO) , in October 2021.
Presently, Chowdeck serves 5 cities including ; Lagos, Abuja,
It has over 300,000 users and an average of 60,000 monthly users.
The startup recently said it has crossed ₦1 billion ($1.2 million) in monthly gross merchandise value (GMV)
In his post, Kennedy said Chowdeck is a one-stop shop.
“With over 11k SKUs available on store, we are the one-stop shop for EVERY SINGLE THING grocery!!!!”
