The maiden edition of Startup Weekend is set to hold this month. Organizers said the event will be a networking event for entrepreneurs in Kaduna. Participants will include aspiring entrepreneurs, local founders, innovators, investors, educators and regulators in the city.
“The event is open to anyone aspiring to start, grow, join, advice, fund or write about startups and wants to connect with others to help achieve this goals. Included but not limited as idea owners, founders, undergraduates, fresh grads, MBAs, entrepreneurship educators, investors and startup writers,” organisers said.
They said they want to create a community inspiring, educating and connecting entrepreneurs in Kaduna; a local ecosystem that will spur and support startups to thrive and scale globally.
The venue is Entrepreneurship Research & Development Center, Kaduna State University campus; the date is 14th November, 2015 and time is 10:00am- 3.00pm
