Google docs gets exciting new feature!

Google has revamped its workspace to foster deeper connections between its productivity and chat apps.

The company made a number of major announcements at its just concluded yearly event, Google I/O. With regards to realtime word/text editing and sharing, the Google Docs app has a few new additions.

New on Google docs is, when editing a document, users can now place an image in front or behind a text. This new feature appears in the text wrapping toolbar and the image options sidebar once users click an image.

With the latest revamp, Google suggests its users can create memes and customize their documents regardless of the applications they use. Documents imported or exported from Microsoft will retain their formatting.

This recent upgrade, though not new to the .doc family, has been anticipated by Google Doc users for a long time as it was only available on Microsoft Word till now.
