The IFA 2014 week has started and the first announcement was made by Lenovo, introducing the new mid-range tablet, the TabS8.
The Tab S8 brings to the table an interesting collection of specs and price tag that is worth paying attention to. Its got an 8-inch screen with a resolution of 1920×1200 and will be sold for $200. It comes with a 16:10 IPS panel, a 1.86 GHz quad core Intel processor, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage with no SD card slot.
The new device is reasonably thin and has a light weight, at the front is a 1.6MP front facing camera, two stereo speakers, an 8 MP camera that captures better photos under low light sits at the and it runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS. Battery life is expected to last for about 7 hours.
Lenovo says it will start selling the Tab S8 later this month at major retailers. With the low price and impressive specs, anyone considering buying a mid-sized tablet should probably consider the Tab S8.
