A new update from Meta-owned platform, Instagram suggests that users can now enjoy an AI-powered sticker creation tool.
Accessible through the ‘Create’ button next to Poll, Quiz, and Add Yours in the sticker search entry box, this custom sticker generator utilizes Meta’s Segment Anything AI model. It empowers users to craft stickers effortlessly from photos and videos in their camera roll or eligible media on the platform.
Similar to iMessage’s functionality, a single click allows users to separate any object from an image. If tweaks are needed or the AI result falls short, users have the option to manually select the subject. Once satisfied, tapping ‘Use Sticker’ adds the generated sticker to your Reel or Story.
Instagram is also developing ‘undo’ and ‘redo’ buttons for Reels, and is testing tools for scaling, cropping, and rotating individual clips.
