Intel Nigeria recently commenced its Retail Tour and In-store promotions in two cities – Benin and Ibadan. This promotion the company says is in furtherance of its PC adoption initiative which it announced last month.
As part of the event, Intel collaborated with its partners – Microsoft, Lenovo, Tecno, Acer and HP to organize a training session for retailers during which they were educated on the proper way to buy and resell devices. In addition the retailers were also informed about all the incentives available to them as well as given the opportunity to use and experience the latest Intel-based technology and devices.
At the end of the event, all participants were entered into a raffle draw that saw 9 lucky people win Intel based devices, including the Lenovo Yoga 300, Tecno Winpad, HP Notebook, and other fantastic prizes were given away on the spot to the amazement of all present.
According to Intel, the Retail Tour will hit Ilorin, Kaduna and Enugu states in the next few months.
Speaking on the Retail Tour, Marketing and PR Manager, Intel West Africa, Adim Isiakpona, said, “We want more Nigerians to understand the importance of technology and the productivity it can offer them in their endeavours, and for us, the best way to do this was for the consumers to experience and see for themselves how much the PC has evolved. It is no longer huge and impossible to navigate. Now you can carry it around, flip the screen over, give touch commands, and collapse a laptop into a tablet instantly. The possibilities are endless.”
There you have it. Ilorin, Kaduna and Enugu get ready….
