This report was released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), which also added that Nigerian internet subscribers increased by 10 percent quarter on quarter. MTN ranks as the telecommunications with the highest customer base of 58.8 million subscribers while Lagos state, Kano state, and Ogun state made up the top three states with the highest internet subscribers in Nigeria.
Also reported were rumors surrounding the yet-to-be-released iPhone 14. One rumor that has got eyes popping is that the iPhone 14 will likely be the first mobile phone without physical sim cards. This correlates with an anonymous tip that revealed Apple is preparing major carriers for E-sim only phones by September.
