Although no precise date has been assigned for the launch of the iPhone 13, the device is speculated to come with an upgraded MagSafe Charger.
According to Gadgets360, the new MagSafe Charger was part of the items for filling on August 13 with the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Other items listed were the iPhone 12 models, alongside four other new phones that could be iPhone 13 variants.
The listed MagSafe Charger has a model number A2548, which does not tally with the launched iPhone 12 charger whose model number is A2140.
At the US FCC filling, the new MagSafe Charger was tested on a list of legacy phone items with model numbers A2341, A2172, A2176, and A2342, which are all US versions of iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, and iPhone 12 mini. It was also tested on AirPods Pro.
Although, the four other unnamed new phones which it was tested did not include any model numbers, they are speculated to be iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, and the iPhone 13 mini.
However, on the documents of the filling, the US FCC did not provide any information on the improvements to expect from the new MagSafe Charger. It also did not ascertain that the unknown phones were iPhone 13 models.
Experts have speculated the unnamed phones to be iPhone 13 models owing to reports in July that the iPhone 13 models would come with upgraded wireless chargers with the help of MagSafe technology. Also reported was that the new iPhone family could power previous iPhone devices wirelessly.
