Apple has sent out invitations to the biggest iPhone event of the year. The invitation which reads “wish we could say more,” says that the much anticipated event would be held on September 9 at 10 am at the Flint Center for the Performing Arts in Cupertino, California – not too far off from Apple’s headquarters.
Apple seems to be ready to catch up with the phablet phase as there’s much anticipation that the 4.7 inch iPhone 6 and possibly 5.5 inch iPhone 6L would be launched at the event. The iWatch is also expected to make an appearance.
See published video of what a Russian website Rozetked.ru claimed to be the iPhone 6.
However the iPad models would not be making any appearance at the event. Apple is supposedly working on a new iPad model which is expected to be 12.9 inches; much bigger than existing iPad models with 9.7 inches for the regular iPads and 7.9 inches for the iPad mini.
The 12.9 inch iPad is expected to debut sometime in October.
