The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results.
Ishaq Oloyede, JAMB ‘s registrar made the announcement at a press conference held at the Board’s headquarters in Bwari, Abuja.
According to Oloyede, the examination was held in over 700 centers across 118 towns in the country.
Over 1.94 million candidates registered and sat for the examinations between Friday the 19th of April and Monday the 29th of April, 2024.
Explaining the reasons for the delay in the release of the results , the board said it needed some time to scrutinize the results.
To ensure credibility and integrity of the results the board needed to address and clarify all issues of impersonation, mixed biometrics, and other forms of malpractices.
