Kaymu Village set to drive ecommerce interaction within communities

kaymu village

Kaymu Nigeria has launched a social innovation centre called kaymu Village in Yaba, Lagos Nigeria. This first-of-its kind social innovation centre, which is located at 59 Queens Street Yaba,  is set to both enhance user experience between sellers and buyers as well as aid in accelerating the interaction between members of the Kaymu community in the Yaba environs of Lagos state.

Sefik Bagdadioglu, the Managing Director of Kaymu Nigeria stated at a press launch of the service center, on 21st October 2015;

“As an innovative company, we constantly seek ways to contribute to the growth of SMEs and the sustainability our community of buyers and sellers. Through the Kaymu Village we aim to contribute to the efforts of the government in developing local e-commerce businesses in the community as well as provide a one stop hub for effective interactions between buyers and sellers within the community”.

Kaymu Rep educating new sellers

One key way Kaymu village will be fulfilling this promise is through the use of smart devices provided at the centre which would allow customers to set up and manage their online stores, compare prices, fulfil orders, shop for items, resolve issues, drop-off and pick up orders and interact with one another.

In summary, the centre will serve as a platform for engagement between sellers, buyers in the community and the online marketplace. It will also be adding to earlier efforts by Kaymu to build a community of established and aspiring entrepreneurs as well as tech savvy buyers.

One last thing, whenever you do visit Kaymu village, please don’t forget to share your experience with us.
