Lagos startup week is back and set to take place on September 24th – 30th, 2016.
This is after the success of the 2015 line-up which was had over 20 events including pitches, panel discussions, showcases, meetups and other activities where over 60 startups were featured and 1000+ entrepreneurs attended.
This year’s edition of Lagos Startup Week promises to further establish Africa, particularly Lagos, in its rightful place in the world of technology, entrepreneurship and innovation.
The theme this year is tagged “Be Inspired”. The event aims to leave entrepreneurs fired up and inspired to take on new challenges and initiatives even in a difficult economy.
Along with the usual panel discussion, pitches and conference style talks, this year’s event features free masterclasses targeted at startups, product launches and a Startup Exhibition. An interesting lineup of speakers which include successful startup founders, local and international investors, industry giants and domain experts have been put together for this week.
