LG has announced the introduction of the new LG G Stylo (aka LG G4 Stylus) into its smartphone line up. The 5.7 inch device is said to be a big competition to Samsung’s Galaxy Note series, especially the expected Galaxy Note 5 which may come earlier in July.
Although rumours have it that the Note 5 plans to launch earlier so that Samsung can have a new device available to fight Apple’s iPhone series which will also be launching pretty soon. The LG G Stylo has a stylus pen (apparently where the name ‘Stylo’ originates from) similar to the Galaxy Note series.
Interestingly, the device which starts shipping this month will have two different names. The device will be called the “LG G4 Stylus” globally while the North American and Korean versions will be called “LG G Stylo”
The key interesting features such as Knock Code, Glance view, Auto Focus known with LG’s high end smartphones will also be in addition to the Stylus Pen.
