True to her words, Linda Ikeji, who is arguably Nigeria’s most famous gossip blogger has made a come back with a new site and her blog has also been restored as she recently tweeted:
Dear LIB readers, the new site is http://t.co/hVj8Lahqmr. — Linda Ikeji (@lindaikeji) October 9, 2014

The new site, upon visitation and navigation, we observe, is kind of slow and scattered, but the never say die tech erudite of sorts has got wind of the problem and has said her IT team are working to make the new site for better readers.
We congratulate her on her return and wish her more success.
In other news, Recall that blogspot is actually powered by Google and reports made to them initiated an investigation that ultimately led to the shutting down of lindaikeji.blogspot.com. While a myriad of reports have been splashed on the Web as ‘Google Nigeria’s explanation for deleting the blog’, we can categorically and officially report that upon a telephone enquiry from Taiwo Kola – Ogunlade, Google’s Communication and Public Affairs Manager, Anglophone West Africa, none of such reports attributed to him are true.
“As discussed with him on the phone, he said: we do not discuss individual accounts.
But generally- “Google is dedicated to offering users the best possible experience across our products. We take violations of policies very seriously as such activities diminish the experience for our users. When we are notified of the existence of content that may violate our Terms of Service, we act quickly to review it and determine whether it actually violates our policies. If we determine that it does, we remove it immediately.
