Mara Mentor, an initiative of Mara Foundation, is offering a lifetime opportunity for young entrepreneurs to access expert business mentorship from top Nigerian business leaders.
With the sequel to its exceedingly successful Mara Mentor One-on-One Lagos, where over 60 young Nigerian entrepreneurs won six-month business mentorship placements under top Nigerian business leaders, poised to hold in Abuja on the 14th of October 2014, young entrepreneurs are again set to benefit from the unique entrepreneurship support program facilitated by Mara Mentor.
The Mara Mentor One-on-One business pitch session has seen over 26 top business leaders in Abuja including: Dr. Mairo Mandara (Country Representative Nigeria, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation), Sonnie Ayere (CEO, Dunn Loren Merrifield and Nigeria Mortgage Refinance Company), Aisha Augie-Kuta (Ace Photograher), Muhammad Jibrin (Managing Director/CEO, SunTrust Savings & Loan) and Aisha Babangida (Chairperson, Better Life Program for Rural Woman Africa), confirm attendance.

Mara Mentor One-on-One has recorded great success in Africa, having been held 10 times across the continent. It is designed in a business pitching format and facilitated by the Mara Mentor entrepreneurship community, which connects ambitious entrepreneurs to inspiring and successful business leaders.
The Mara Mentor program was launched on May 29th Democracy Day celebrations in Abuja, and is in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Youth Development, Federal Ministry of Communication Technology, Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, and the National Planning Commission.
The programme is also supported by UN Women, Ernst &Young, Africa 2.0, Integrated Youth Economic Empowerment Programme (IYEEP), AGDC, MTN, Airtel, Beat 99.9 FM, Pulse.ng, Enterprise54.com, TechCityNg and other local media partners.
