On March 1st the world’s first smartphone with 6 GB of RAM will be announced officially in China. The Vivo XPlay 5 will be the first smart phone in the world with a RAM size larger than 4 GB.
Is 6 GB of RAM necessary at all?
I don’t think so.
Very few people with flagship smartphones ever utilize all the power packed into their devices. But then again, my opinion doesn’t matter because the Chinese manufacturer has gone ahead to create a space for itself in world records.
The Vivo XPlay 5 comes with other interesting features that includes; a 6 inch, dual-curved display, 4,300mAh battery, a snapdragon 820, 16MP rear camera, and Hi-Fi 3.0 audio.
