The dreaded Blue Screen of Death (BSoD) is getting a face lift this summer. Thanks to the QR code present in the latest preview of the Windows 10, which will be launched this summer.
Although the sad ASCII smiley still remains, Microsoft has added the QR code so that users can easily find support articles and assistance to help solve their problems.
The code will also help support technicians locate error codes in the blue screen.
Microsoft’s move to simplify how users can trouble shoot and resolve their system issues is truly laudable especially as this is the first major change its made to the BSoD since Windows 8.
