Are you still using any version of Internet Explorer below 11? If yes, then now’s the time to do an upgrade, before it’s too late. Microsoft will be ending support for Internet Explorer 8, 9, and 10 on January 12th 2016.
What this means is that these browsers will no longer receive security updates or any other kind of technical support/patches, thus leaving those running them vulnerable to hackers and other cyber security threats.
Microsoft says it will deliver the last bug fixes and an “End of Life” notification on January 12 telling users to upgrade to Microsoft Edge (the Internet Explorer’s successor built for Windows 10) or IE 11.
Microsoft also added that although home PC users will have to update their browsers on their own, small business can get help from any Microsoft certified Partner while large companies with 500+ employees can come directly to Microsoft for help in deploying its latest browsers.
