Microsoft redesigns Skype for iOS 7

Microsoft has released a Skype update for its iPhone app and its iPad app, finally redesigning them both for iOS 7. You can download the new versions now directly from Apple’s App Store: iPhone and iPad.

The new features of Skype for iOS7 include:

Refreshed look and feel for iOS 7.
Accessibility improvements, including improved accessibility of dialpad with touchtype support,
VoiceOver announces the senders name when messaging, and VoiceOver improvements for group chats.
General fixes.

Microsoft released a minor Skype for iOS update on the same day as iOS 7′s release, TNW noted that a new interface for Apple’s latest mobile operating system was clearly missing. Now it’s here and the company can focus on delivering new features.
