Organizers of the fifth Mobile Money Expo have announced the expo is set to kick off on Wednesday 6 May at the Eko Hotels and Conference Center Victoria Island, Lagos Nigeria.
In a statement made available to TechCity by the organizers of the expo, the focus of the two-day event is on “Charting Africa’s cashless future”.
“The expo delivers two days of top executives, cutting edge content from dynamic presentations, designed to address developments, challenges and opportunities and successes within the digital financial services ecosystem around Africa,” organizers stated.
Organizers noted that major new trends and innovations in digital financial services are not only opening up the possibility of expanding financial inclusion but also creating new opportunities for a multitude of products and services that build on the mobile money system for the mass market in the African market.
The expo will feature several panels and sessions by experts in the industry with the goal of keeping participants up-to-date with mobile financial services and cashless developments across the African continent.
