TechCity Conversations has stirred a few unconventional topics in the past.
From the episode where an Uber driver shared her awkward encounters and her account balance by using the app, to another where a Canva expert took a major dig at “professional” graphics designers, and the one where a visual artist shaded Ghana because Google chose a Nigerian to design the Jollof doodle for the Search home page. Every episode has its fair share of haha‘s and no way!‘s.
As with every episode we film, each conversation takes on an autonomous nature and reveals something incredulous like the most recent conversation we had with Konko Janet Senami, a Pediatric nurse.
In our conversation with her, she opened up on the many ways that Nigerian hospitals try to incorporate technology in simplifying their operations and making healthcare more accessible for patients.
We hoped that some of our questions would shed light on the dearth of advanced tech equipment in hospitals as the reason why the public health sector hadn’t made enough progress in e-health services.
Imagine our surprise when she revealed that patients are, in fact, the resistance.
