The National Information Technology Development Agency of Nigeria (NITDA) has announced plans to tackle the increasing rate of mass failure in national examinations in Nigeria through the deployment of ICT. To this effect the agency has announced a partnership with Cinfores Limited and WaveTek Nigeria Limited, indigenous software companies
The partners have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the deployment of JAMB Brainfriend, a special version of Nigeria’s foremost e-learning and examination preparatory software. The special version is designed for the forthcoming 2015 Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB)/Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

“Based on the transformation agenda of Mr. President, the Federal Government of Nigeria is doing everything possible to ensure that the Nigerian educational system is improved and made world class.,” he said.
