There has been lots of buzz around this new OnePlus One smartphone especially with the high end specs packed into it and the fact that its coming at a low price.
The fact that lots of people have been comparing it with the new Samsung Galaxy s5 got me bickering with a few guys. O Yes!!it can be compared with the s5 considering the specs sheet, in fact, on paper it’s more powerful than a Galaxy S5 or HTC One M8 and it even cost less than half their prices…. $300
The company calls the phone “amazingly elegant.” and I tend to agree. The phone has a large 5.5-inch, 1080p capacitive touchscreen with a dimension of 152.9 x 75.9 x 8.9mm. It runs on a customized CyanogenMod version based on Android 4.4 KitKat, powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 with a 2.5GHz Quad-core processor.
Two OnePlus One model will be available, 16GB and 64GB model and surprisingly it comes with 3GB RAM. Battery power sits at a robust 3100 mAh and is non-removable, this doesn’t sound like a plus but the company claims its high capacity would make up for that.
…and for people who love taking pictures, the One bags a 13MP camera with 6 Lenses and f/2.0 Aperture capable of recording video in 4K (Ultra HD). The camera is also capable of quick shutter speed of 0.3 seconds, has image stabilization and can record in slow-motion at 720p. Am sure the selfie lovers will enjoy the5MP front facing camera.
One might get a little nervous and sometimes feel there would be a compromise somewhere we do not know when you remember the price ($300 for 16GB/$350 for 64GB model) but hey! if it delivers as expected, then I think the juice will be worth the squeeze.
