About a month ago we reported that PayPal intends to expand into 10 new markets, Nigeria inclusive to provide online payment alternatives for consumers via mobile phones or PCs.
Now a date has been set for the unveiling of the Payment platform. PayPal will officially launch in Nigeria on Tuesday July 22nd 2014 at the prestigious Eko Hotel and Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos
The event will be in conjunction with First Bank Nigeria to celebrate the launch of the PayPal platform in Nigeria.
Nigeria was removed from eligible countries a long time ago after allegations of fraud which made it difficult for Nigerians to make transactions on some website using Paypal as the only means of payment.
Maybe we can now heave a sigh of relief…….
