Periscope has been known over the years for keeping broadcasts for only 24 hours and it disappears.
However, only yesterday, the company announced a new feature that will allow you save broadcast indefinitely by adding a hashtag and the word ‘Save’ (#Save) in the title of your stream.
Working on supporting broadcasts beyond 24h! Starting now, you can use our public beta by using #save in your title! https://t.co/LsjqsSib7v

The CEO of periscope Kayvon Beykpour encouraged users to give their feedback as the new feature is only a public beta.
By adding the simple hashtag to the title of your stream, you will be able to save the stream for as long as you want it. This of course makes live video streaming app similar and more competitive to Facebook live which saves streams to your timeline for as long as you want.
Please be reminded, that the new #Save feature is still in Beta, hence don’t expect it to work flawlessly. Still yet we hope periscope doesn’t take too long before working out whatever issues users spot in this Beta version.
