Online savings and investment platform, PiggyVest has now released a new feature that gives you a dedicated bank account number.
PiggyVest, which was launched in 2016 was originally called Piggybank (piggybank.ng) and was primarily an online savings platform. Over time, the company evolved with changes such as the inclusion of other features such as Safelock, PiggyFlex and Target Savings, a name change to PiggyVest and the addition of Investify – an investment feature.
Now, if you’re a user of the platform, you’ll now be assigned a bank account number that allows your Piggy Flex account to be funded directly.
What does this mean for users?
- You can now fund your Piggy Flex account directly with internet banking, USSD and other bank transfer channels (without the need for a debit card).
- You can accept transfers from friends and family directly into your PiggyVest
- You can receive payments for services straight into your PiggyVest
