Leading online learning institution, University of Roehampton, in partnership with online learning expert Laureate International Universities, will be holding information sessions on online learning in Lagos, Abuja and PortHarcourt between June and September, 2014. According to the university’s Chief Academic Officer, Craig Marsh, the sessions are targeted at providing potential students, professionals and adult learners with information on the opportunities that are available in the online learning space and also offer insight into the University’s unique online learning model and range of available programmes.
The initiative will bring together industry representatives and academic experts from the university to chart a path that will guide participants in expanding their educational outreach through online learning, with an emphasis on graduate education.
The information sessions will commence with meetings in Port Harcourt on Saturday, June 8 and August 3 at Le Meridien Ogeyi Place, GRA from 11.00am, with no prior registration required. The Lagos event will hold on Saturday, July 19 at Sheraton Hotel and Towers, Ikeja, also from 11.00am. Another information session for interested individuals that are resident in Abuja has been scheduled for Saturday, August 2, at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.
