What to Expect in the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

IFA 2014 is around the corner and lots of people are gearing up to witness the latest tech offering by various technology companies around the world. IFA is a large technology show held in Berlin, Germany with over 200,000 visitors and exhibitors from all over the world. The event has regularly taken place in since 1924.

Samsung will unveil its next Note series, the Galaxy Note 4 during the IFA on the 3rd of September after sending out invites few weeks back. The date has also been confirmed in the video which teases the anticipated Galaxy Note 4. See video above

There has been various rumors about what to expect on the specs sheet but according to some unconfirmed sources, we expect Samsung to unveil two versions of the Note 4 – one with a curved OLED display for niche markets and the other a flat OLED display for mass marketing. Along side the Note 4, Samsung will also unveil UHD OLED TVs, a Google Glass rival, and some home appliances.

What to Expect

The Price for the Note 4 is yet to be confirmed but we expect it to fall within the range of $500 – $600. Maybe Samsung will decide to surprise us packing the latest Android version (Android L) but this is very unlikely so expect the KitKat. We also expect the Note to grow bigger as it has been with various version, possibly 5.9 Inches or a 6, however, SamMobile has reported that the SM-N910A has been listed on Indian import tracking site Zuba with a 5.7in screen. Leaked specs from Erafone also include a 5.7in size and a Quad HD resolution like the LG G3 (1440 x 2560).

Thinking about the processor, we do not expect anything lower than the recently announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor. Samsung also has a tradition of releasing devices with different versions of the processors for different markets so we are expecting an Exynos processor and a quad-core Krait 450 chip which can be clocked up to 2.7GHz. Am sure we will have the Exynos in Nigeria.

Camera is expected to be a 16Mp (3456 x 4608 pixels) rear camera with optical image stabilization, autofocus and a dual-LED flash. It will also be able to shoot video in up to 4K resolution.

Storage options will include 16, 32 and 64GB alongside a huge 4GB of RAM, higher than the 3GB found in the Note 3. The phone will also have a microSD card slot capable of expanding memory up to 128GB.

We also expect the Finger print scanner, dust and water proof feature found on the S5.

Did i forget the stylus pen??? Definitely not…. the Note 4 will surely come with the revolutionary S pen.

Well said, we will just relax and wait till the release date to give you the official specs sheet of the Galaxy Note 4.
