Not too long after the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge were announced, consumers began to anticipate what the next big device will be for Samsung and in this case, they were more eager to meet the new member of Samsung’s Note series which will be the Galaxy Note 5.
The wait is about to come to an end as Samsung is likely to launch the device on the 13th of August, 2015. This is typically out of order for Samsung as they have generally announced the next device in the Note lineup during the IFA at the beginning of September. To that effect, it has also began to send out invites to the biggest mobile event of the year, Unpacked.
Unpacked 2015 will take place on the 13th of this month at promptly 11AM EST in New York City at Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center. At the event, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is likely not to be the only announcement to be made seeing that many also expect the announcement of the Galaxy S6 Edge+.
The Galaxy Note 5 is said to sport a Samsung Exynos octa-core processor with 4GB of RAM and a 5.7-inch Quad HD screen, with others rumors speculating it may have an auto-ejecting S Pen among other things.
While the launch will take place beyond the shores of Nigeria, we will be bringing you a live update of the event as it happening and when it gets to Nigeria, trust us to keep you informed.
