Market leader in enterprise application software, SAP West Africa has been announced Silver Sponsor of this year’s HR Leaders in Africa Forum.
An annual event, HR Leaders Africa Forum 2015 which is fourth in the series is tagged: Unlocking the Power of Human Capital to Tap Africa’s Growth Potential.
The forum has been engineered to bring together top HR leaders and CEOs from the world’s leading international companies across Africa under one roof to exchange insights on key strategic human capital management with a view to unlocking the region’s growth potential.
Explaining rationale for playing a significant role in this year’s colloquium, Tanmo Imobekhai, Human Resources Presales Consultant at SAP West Africa said, “As world leader in providing efficient, cost and time saving payroll processing and HR information technology solution, we found it pertinent to be part of an event that would enable HR executives in Africa in their position as business drivers.”
The event scheduled to hold from 8th to 11th June at Four Point by Sheraton Hotel, Lagos will kick off with an Interactive polling session in which live statistics generated by the audience will set the tone for the rest of the agenda. This session is expected to help put matters in perspective and generate data and statistics to support HR practices.
“In a challenging economic climate, leveraging human capital effectively will be the difference between those organizations that thrive amidst uncertainty and those that languish behind competitors, to permanent obscurity. Not unlike their global counterparts, CEOS in Africa now require HR directors to lead HR transformation from an archaic administrative function to that of strategic partners and enablers to add worth to the corporate boardroom,” explains Faariss Khalil, Sponsorship Manager, Informa, organisers of the Forum.
According to him, “The Forum will enable organizations benchmark their human capital strategies against leading regional and international employers to drive bottom line growth and gain influence in the C-suite by aligning HR strategy with business objectives. It will also help develop a world class talent strategy to attract and retain the best and brightest talents in Africa and to unleash the hidden potential of talents with effective employee engagement programmes”.
Faariss Khalil added, “We are happy at SAP’s decision to participate yet again at the forum and even more excited that they have chosen to be a key sponsor. It serves to show the brand’s commitment towards the effective and efficient management of the modern workforce”.
