Starta and Ingressive are accepting applications from startups interested in pitching to investors at the High Growth Africa Summit 2016.
High Growth Africa Summit 2016 is a two-day conference dedicated to teaching entrepreneurs how to build, scale and fund high growth businesses in Africa. It will be held at the Landmark Event Centre, Lagos on 17th-18th November 2016.
The conference is starting on the back of African Angel Investment Summit hosted by ABAN, VC4Africa and LAN. Both conferences have been organized to be at the same venue. HGAS will start at 5 pm on 17th at the end of Africa Angel Investment Summit. So a lot of serious local and international investors will be at both events.
Interested startups can enter the competition by submitting a 1-minute elevator pitch video. Five startups with the best pitch video will get the opportunity to do an extended pitch and Q&A to angel investors, VCs, private equity funds and top executives attending the summit.
The best pitch videos will also be screened to more than 150 local and international investors during the summit.
“We want to give the right opportunities for five startups to get feedback, get mentors and potentially get investments from these investors. If your startup is selected, your video will be screened to more than 150 local and international investors during the summit,” says Maya Famodu, Ingressive.
Although there is no cash on the table, selected startups will get up to 3 free masterclass passes, feedback, mentors and potentially get investments from these investors.
Startups can apply by sending in their 1-minute video pitch here. Applications close on Tuesday, 15th of November.
