Students and Youth Entrepreneurs’ Network (SEYNet), a subsidiary of The African Network of Entrepreneurs (TANOE) has opened nominations for the listing of Top 100 Student Entrepreneurs in Ghana (#SEYNet100). . SYENet is passionate about discovering and developing entrepreneurs right from school. It has a mission of changing the mindset of students from job seekers to becoming job creators through the consistent and effective promotion of entrepreneurship in schools and communities. This initiative seeks to identify, celebrate and encourage 100 outstanding students, mainly in the tertiary institutions, who are combining their studies with setting up and running businesses on or off campus.
According to the CEO of TANOE, Ekow Mensah, this initiative is envisioned to serve as a vital step in the creation of a vibrant entrepreneurial culture amongst students and the youth at large. He also said this will encourage and inspire other students to go into entrepreneurial paths.
After the nominations which will end on the22nd of July 2016, the final list of the Top 100 Student Entrepreneurs in Ghana will be announced on 22nd August 2016 after strict scrutiny and adjudication by the SYENet100 Board.
