Tecno is joining the foldable smartphone market with its Phantom V Fold. This device will be Tecno’s first attempt at making a foldable smartphone after the likes of the Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip series from Samsung.
Other companies like OPPO, Huawei, Honor and Vivo have also launched various foldable competitors. Tecno’s coming foldable device packs some important features. One impressive feature the device is rumored to come with is the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ processor.
This processor is also present on the new Tecno Phantom X2 Pro, delivering powerful performance. The camera cutout on the coming Tecno Phantom V Fold would feature a circular module or cutout.
Ahead of its launch, leaked images of Tecno Phantom V Fold have begun making the rounds on social media. In a video made popular by Sudhanshu Ambhore via his Twitter page, we see the design of the coming Tecno Phantom V Fold. The device bears a striking resemblance with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold but the icons are very Tecno.
Expected to launch on the 28th of February at the MWC 2023 event, this foldable from Tecno will be available after its official launch in various regions.
