Last week, I got a call from someone and the line was very choppy. She said, “Sorry ma, let me call you back with my personal line.” My phone rang again within seconds.
Person: Good afternoon ma. Can you hear me now, ma?

P: Okay, thanks ma. I was asking if you know (redacted)?
M: Who? I’m not s…
P: Ma, she is owing us at (incoherent) and she has refused to pay.
M: (Upon realisation, now a tad upset) So, why are you calling me? How did you even get my number?
P: We saw your number from… ermm… she put your number as next of kin.
M: (slightly livid) That is a LIE! I don’t know this person and ONLY my family members make me next of kin! What is wrong with you people???
P: Sorry ma, but… (I hang up because I’m not about to lose my salvation on this bad behaviour)
