If you own an iPhone 6 and you are all over the place feeling really cool, then you have to check this Lamborghini 88 Tauri which is more than five times the cost of your iPhone. The phone was announced during the CES 2015 and the company says it is customized to be shatterproof and scratch-proof with the same glass used in Lamborghini cars.
The Tauri 88 is made of premium materials, steel (available in Gold, Black or plain steel colors) and leather (a choice of Black, Blue, Red, Orange and Brown) complete with decorative stitches. The phone was designed in Italy and sports the recognizable raging bull crest.
Apart from the fact that the phone dictates luxury, it also performs well on the specs sheet. The phone packs quite a punch – a 5-inch screen with 1080p resolution, runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset with a 2.3 GHz processor. RAM is clocked at 3GB with a 64GB built-in expandable storage. Battery capacity is 3,400mAh battery that promises to last up to 35 hours of 3G talk time. Primary camera is 20MP with an impressive 8MP camera on the front.
Lamborghini says only 1947 Tonino Lamborghini Tauri 88 phones will be built and each will cost $6,000 (N1,080,000). Need not borther yourself with the figure, Antonio “Tonino” Lamborghini is the son of Ferruccio, the founder of Lamborghini, and was born in 1947.
Little wonder how many people can actually dole out such bucks on a smartphone, now am not talking about affordability but importance and or neccesity. Well maybe the oil magnates in the UAE and a few ostentatious celebs around the world would scramble to get this limited device.
Seriously!!! i am a Nigerian and i if i have to think like one (not all), that amount can buy you a piece of land somewhere….. Just saying
